These terms govern your use of magellanclinical.com, operated by Magellan Clinical Consultants. By using this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. This website is informational

Everything on this site describes, in general terms, what we do. Nothing here is an offer to provide services, and nothing here creates a client relationship. Our services are provided only under a separate written agreement. If anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement governs.

2. We do not practice medicine

Magellan Clinical Consultants provides health advisory, research and care-navigation services. We do not practice medicine. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe or administer treatment, or provide medical advice. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and using this site does not create a physician–patient relationship with us or with anyone named on it.

All clinical decisions remain between you and your licensed treating physicians. Our role is to help you reach the right expertise and to help you understand your options — not to substitute our judgment for your doctor's.

3. Concierge physician access

Where we describe 24/7 concierge primary care access, that service is delivered by a licensed physician, separately from our advisory work. It is not urgent care and it is not emergency care. It does not replace your own treating physicians. Its availability, scope and terms are set out in the applicable membership materials.

4. We are not an insurer

Membership with Magellan is not insurance, is not a health plan, and is not a discount medical plan. We do not provide, arrange payment for, or reimburse medical care. You remain responsible for the cost of your own care.

5. Physicians, institutions and our advisory board

Members of our Medical Advisory Board serve in an advisory capacity to Magellan Clinical Consultants. Their service does not create any relationship between them and you, does not mean they will treat you, and is not a representation that any particular physician will be available in your case.

Hospitals, medical centers and physicians named or linked on this site are identified for reference. Naming them does not imply that they endorse us, that we represent them, or that they have any obligation to you.

6. No guarantee of outcome

Medicine is uncertain, and so is access to it. We do not guarantee any particular medical outcome, any particular appointment, any particular physician, admission to any institution, or eligibility for any clinical trial. What we commit to is diligence, independence, and an honest assessment of what is possible.

7. Independence

We accept no compensation from hospitals, physician groups, laboratories, device or pharmaceutical companies, or insurers in connection with our recommendations. Our only financial relationship is with our clients.

8. Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and arrangement of this site are owned by Magellan Clinical Consultants or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal business use. You may not republish, sell, or create derivative works from this site without our written permission.

9. What you send us

You agree that anything you submit through this site is accurate to the best of your knowledge, is yours to send, and does not violate anyone else's rights. Please do not send confidential health information through the contact form — see our Privacy Policy. Unsolicited submissions are not treated as confidential until an engagement begins.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, not to interfere with its operation, and not to use automated means to harvest information from it.

11. Third-party links

We link to external sites for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on it is complete or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magellan Clinical Consultants and its members, officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of this website — even if we have been advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.

15. Governing law

Magellan Clinical Consultants is a Delaware limited liability company operating from the State of Florida. Delaware law governs the company’s own internal affairs. These terms of use, however, and any dispute arising out of this website or your use of it, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any right you may have under the consumer-protection laws of the state in which you live.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after we post a change means you accept it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
